Gabriele Armento
Full stack dev, cloud architect, ml student — based in Italy
Welcome to my website
What is this?
This is a simple website that I made to introduce myself and show you a few things I've made. You can jump to
specific sections here:
About me
I'm a full stack developer (mostly web dev and etl systems), cloud architect and machine learning student. I
currently work as a freelance developer and I mainly consult a few companies in Italy (right now I'm working
closely with the EGO team).
Projects
Here are a few projects I've worked on:
What I think I can do
Here are a few things I think I can do:
- Although this is something I don't (yet?) do professionally, I am very good at gathering information to
judge strategic decisions. Apparently, I am the metaphorical "wall" that my friends try to throw balls at to
see if they stick. Given my passion for data and my interest in developing companies and automations, I can
see where this ability of mine might stem from.
-
I'm very good at adapting fast to technologies, frameworks, people and situations
-
I have a good understanding of the web and I think I am good at developing web applications fast. I fell in
love with the simplicity of serverless and I became knowledgeable in cloud services and architectures. I'm
also capable of developing good ETL systems.
-
I have a basic knowledge of data science, enough that I can make basic observation about data and I can
develop simple visualizations. I am a very frequent user of Excel and Google Sheets to analyze data.
-
I know Python, Git, SQL (basics), JavaScript, React, Next, many AWS services, Docker, Flask, Pandas, and
many tools like Vercel, Jira, Postman, and many others. I am proficient at making a multithreaded web
scraper in Python or helping with designing a Zapier integration.

Blog & Newsletter
I don't have a blog yet, but I'm planning to start one soon. Add your email here (my newsletter) if you'd like to remain
updated.
Why is this website so simple?
This website is heavily inspired by motherf******website and bettermotherf******website. I might add things in the
future, but I'd like to keep everything in one page, as an experiment (except static assets of course).
